Vicars Newsletter for 17th May

Dear all,

Here is the latest news for the Hertford Benefice.

Prerecorded Video Service for Sunday:
Here is the All Saints Hunmanby website link in blue for Sunday morning - The service will be available anytime on Sunday. Apologies to those who tried to find it before 10am last week and didn't see it. That was a one-off and it won't happen again.
Why not link up at around 10.00am? Just a suggestion!
SUNDAY 17th MAY VIDEO SERVICE -

Left click on the blue link above to take you to another blue link with the new, more user-friendly service video with hymn list as per previous Sundays ( NB it's not 'left click' if you are receiving this on a tablet or smart phone - new advice was supplied for Sunday 28th April).

The video remains available after Sunday.

WEEKDAY MORNING PRAYER at 9.00am
A shorter version of Morning Prayer (normally less than 15 minutes long) will continue to be live-streamed this coming week from Monday to Thursday at 9.00am on the Spring Cafe and Church Facebook site.
Here is the link for those who would like to access this opportunity to share in prayer.
Monday to Thursday Morning Prayer at 9am:  [ Thursday 21st May is Ascension Day ]

The video remains on the home page for those who might wish to join in at another time

Please do inform church members in your parish who are not online about this:

DAILY HOPE PHONE LINE

Daily Hope offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line. A Church of England initiative in partnership with CONNECTIONS at Holy Trinity Claygate, and Faith in Later Life. The line – which is available 24 hours a day on 0800 804 8044 – has been set up particularly with those unable to join online church services during the period of restrictions in mind. “With many in our country on lockdown, it’s important that we support those who are feeling lonely and isolated, whatever age they are." Archbishop Justin Welby

THANK YOU

Keith and Linda would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has either donated or shared the Go Fund for Eleanor's Voice appeal. We are so grateful that our wonderful granddaughter will at last be able to communicate with the world. She is at present trialling a communication system to make sure that the camera etc, are suitable for her before the system is ordered from America. Our daughter, Yvonne, is most grateful for every penny that has been donated by you and would like us to thank personally those she hasn't been able to contact due to anonymity, so Thank You! for your love and support.

Yours in Christ, Keith and Linda Butler
