Vicar's Newsletter for 4th October

Dear all,

NB No Zoom benefice prayers this week.

Sunday worship in our churches continues. A reminder that the rule of six means that no more than six people from the same household or bubble could sit together in church.

A reminder that names of those attending worship must be recorded and kept for 21 days for the Test and Trace system. Face coverings are now required by law to be worn in places of worship. Congregational singing is still not permitted.

HOLY COMMUNION
Please note that Holy Communion will only be received by the congregation in one kind (bread/wafer only). You are asked to follow the direction of a churchwarden/sidesperson and when you receive please return to your seat before removing your face covering to consume. Communion will be administered whilst standing. Kneeling at the communion rail is suspended.

SPRING CAFÉ TAKE-AWAY SERVICE

Spring Café open from 10.00am - 2.00pm on Mondays to Wednesdays each week as a take-away service only. When things return to some kind of new normal, the plan is to open the café again for sit-in drinks and meals. We have no idea when this might be possible.

The cafe door accessed from the churchyard will be the only one open.

ANNUAL LEAVE
Please note that I will be on annual leave from the afternoon of Sunday 4th October. I return to work on Monday 12th October.
NB You will also receive a newsletter for Sunday 11th October this weekend.
If for any reason you prefer not to be included in this mailing please just send me an email and I will remove yours from the list. Many thanks.

Every blessing,
