Vicar's Newsletter for 10th May

Dear all,

I trust you are keeping well and know the Lord's presence and strength in these unusual times.

Please find attached at the bottom of this email the order of service for Sunday in a Word format. It should print on two sides of A4.

Here is the All Saints website link in blue for Sunday morning - why not link up at 10.00am? Just a suggestion!

Please do inform church members in your parish who are not online about this:

DAILY HOPE PHONE LINE

Daily Hope offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line. A Church of England initiative in partnership with CONNECTIONS at Holy Trinity Claygate, and Faith in Later Life. The line – which is available 24 hours a day on 0800 804 8044 – has been set up particularly with those unable to join online church services during the period of restrictions in mind. “With many in our country on lockdown, it’s important that we support those who are feeling lonely and isolated, whatever age they are." Archbishop Justin Welby

THANK YOU
Thank you all so much for the lovely cards & letters received since David passed away on April 13th. I was aware of & was strengthened by the prayers of so many of you during his illness & since that time. God bless you. From Joyce Lister & family.

THANK YOU
Mike and Anne Dodgson are very grateful to the Church fellowship for the love and prayers during Mike's illness over the last three months. They have been based at Thwing and lovingly cared for by Selina for the last seven weeks, and intend to be back at home in Muston soon.

UPDATE
Thank you to all who have made a gift towards Eleanor's Voice appeal. The target of £12,000 has now past £9,500.
