About Us

At the heart of everything we seek to do and be at All Saints is prayer and worship. Through our varied services and group activities we want people to meet with God, to be free to worship Him, to hear His word and to know God's love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We believe that Christians are able to know Almighty God as their perfect Father in heaven, the One Jesus taught us to call Abba. We seek therefore to be a family community of faith. We seek to build each other up in love, faith and service in a place where gifts are encouraged to be used for the benefit of all.

In an age of increasing isolation, fear and loneliness we offer friendship and the assurance of being accepted and loved by God and by the people of All Saints. We desire to see others come to faith in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and to grow in their understanding of the Bible, Christianity and the working of the Holy Spirit in their lives. To experience God in a personal relationship that transcends head knowledge and simply 'going to church'.

Although in many ways we are quite contemporary in much of our worship we are orthodox in what we believe about God, salvation and the Christian faith. We believe in an Almighty, all loving God of grace and mercy who loves us so much He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die in agony on the cross, to be buried and to be raised to life and all this for YOU.  In a culture that often claims many and all ways lead to God we want to affirm that there is only ONE way to God and to eternal life and that is through faith in Christ alone. The One who said 'I am THE way, THE truth and THE Life. No one comes to the Father except through me' (John 14:6).

We believe God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in the hearts of those who believe, to empower them and make them more like Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the very breath of life, the breath of God available to ALL Christians and not just a select few.

We constantly strive to correct the images so often portrayed of Jesus and His Church as being for wimps, old ladies and young children and irrelevant to today's culture. To that end we offer you a warm welcome to come and see for yourself how good church can be, how real Jesus is and how much you are loved by God.
