Who We Are

The Bible speaks of the church in terms of people in relationship with God and not a building (important as they are). We seek to build that kind of church here at All Saints. We worship God who is 'the same yesterday, today and forever' and has been made known to us as Abba, Father through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit working within us.

We believe that being a Christian is THE best thing that can happen in a person's life and that meeting together with other Christians in worship should be an enjoyable, yet challenging experience.Today we still strive to serve our Lord here in Hunmanby and where possible throughout the world by our witness, work and life together.

To that end we give 10% of all our income to the wider work of God, supporting mission in Peru, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda and other places through our mission links.

We support Release International in their work with the persecuted church. So far Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Ethiopia (twice) Colombia, Thailand, Laos, and the Philippines have been visited.

We seek to be involved in our community in many and varied ways. As part of that involvement many church members are active in the numerous groups and societies in our village.  We run our own Cafe, the Spring Cafe, which welcomes everyone together with groups of many kinds. As well, of course, as our own community members and holiday makers.

We have a corner in the church which is dedicated to prayer and quiet and is available each day from 10:00am - 3:00pm.

We offer a wide variety of services each month so we hope you will find at least one service in which you feel at ease. Come and join us and make this 'house of God' a 'home'.
