BENEFICE NEWS

Request to all church members across the Benefice

The Spring Café, Hunmanby, has new opening hours.  Please would you consider prayerfully if you could volunteer to do a shift to take orders and serve? (approx. 2.5 hours per shift). There are still gaps in the shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, & potentially Saturdays.  It could be a commitment once a month and it doesn’t need to be the same shift or day…. It could even be a one off / occasionally. This is our main outreach in Hunmanby.  For further info, have a chat with Jane Cheesbrough /Chris Rookes /Joy Ossai or, ring the admin tel no 07507 862117 & one of them will call you back. We really do need your help!

Prayer Chain Reminder

Please contact Maureen Andrews or Jane Cheesbrough, if you would like to activate the church prayer chain.  This is completely confidential and you must have the permission from the individual you are asking for prayer for.

Saturday Morning Prayer meetings in the Church

From next Saturday, 4^th May. This meeting will be for a whole hour from 9.30 am to 10.30 am.  This change is to encourage more people to attend, as you will be able to come and go at any time within this timeframe.

Hunmanby Annual Parochial Church Meeting

Monday 20^th May at 7 pm in The Spring.

Please put the date in your diary. 

The Spring Café is re-organising its activities and the café opening hours.

The plan is for the café to open for 3 days per week on Thursday to Saturday.

On Mondays to Wednesdays, the Spring building will only host group activities, at specific times.  The café will be closed – i.e. the café menu will not be available on those days.

Whilst the changes are implemented, please see the diary below for the interim opening hours.
