VERSES FOR THE WEEK

Deuteronomy 6 vs 4 - 7

Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Children in Distress – Thank you!

A BIG thankyou to those who have given shoe boxes and cash donations.  Thanks too to those who have knitted more than 80 hats, some small jumpers and cardigans, and 576 squares, most of which have already been made into single blankets.  Keep knitting for next year!

Try Praying

There is another ‘Try Praying’ drop in event next Friday 8th November in the Church Hall between 10 am & 12 noon. If you aren’t going to pass the booklet on, please could you bring back & leave on the table at the back of Church or take to the Church Hall & leave on the ‘TryPraying’ windowsill. Almost 100 booklets have been taken, & we would like to know if there are unused ones that can be recycled, & how many more to order.
