Gram Seed, founder of Sowing Seeds Ministries, is speaking at the Rainbow Centre in Scarborough on Wednesday 1st June 10.30am - 12 noon. See attached poster for details. I know Gram of old from my time in the north east. He is a really inspiring chap with an amazing testimony of God's love.

Election of churchwardens and Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Sunday 15th May at 11am in church

Nomination forms for election to the PCC are available at the back of church on top of the hymnbook cupboard.

There is a meeting of Cursillo in church from 9.15am on Saturday 21st May.

SATURDAY PRAYERS

Next prayers on Saturdays 21st May (in cafe) and 28th May in church 9.30am - 10.00am.

FRIENDS OF GOD'S ACRE are holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 21st May. 10 am until 12 noon. £2 admission which includes coffee and biscuits. There will be various stalls including cakes, books, jigsaws and gifts. The Grand Spring raffle will be drawn at 11.30am. 1st prize £50, 2nd prize £25, plus many more. All proceeds for the upkeep of God's Acre.

SATURDAY 28th MAY

FILEY FISHERMEN'S CHOIR AT THE SPRING CAFE

ADVANCE NOTICE RE JUBILEE WEEKEND - ESPECIALLY ON SAT. 4th JUNE

CAKES are needed please for the Platinum Jubilee weekend as well as helpers. Café staff / volunteers need help for setting up & clearing tables, tidying up outside and just to be a welcoming presence.
There will be a LIST at the back of church to sign up please, or let Joy or any of the café volunteers know. Thank you!

SPRING CAFE THIS WEEK: (programme for May attached below)

Monday 16th May

From 9.30am Hun-Free Fridge (Free food for all to avoid it going to waste)

12.15 - 12.45pm Spring prayers - come and pray for the work of the Spring

1.00pm till 3.00pm Knit and natter, bring your own knitting (or some is provided) and enjoy a chat over a cuppa,

& from 1.00pm Games Afternoon (Enjoy a chat and cuppa with board games).

Tuesday 17th

1.30pm The square dancing group will meet

Wednesday 18th

10.00am - 3.00pm Drop in for drinks and cakes or come and enjoy the CAMEO ( come and meet each other) 2 course meal served at 12 noon. Set price of £5.50 for 2-course meal. & with “FORGET-ME-NOT” lunch gathering from 11.30am for those with dementia and friends.

Friday 20th

12noon Community meal - a minimum donation of £3 would help towards covering costs. Thank you.

Hun-Free Fridge from 1.00pm (Free food for all to avoid it going to waste)

HUN-FREE COMMUNITY FRIDGE: (Please note - each session will close when all the food has gone)

HunFree the Hunmanby Community Fridge will operate on Monday morning from 9.30am and Friday afternoon from 1pm when tea/coffee will be available.

12noon Every Friday in the Spring cafe - Community Meal.
