This newsletter comes with my best wishes and prayers for a joyful Christmas and blessed New Year!

All the services in the benefice for January are available below.

MY ANNUAL LEAVE

Please note that I am away on annual leave from Christmas Day afternoon until Saturday 31st December inclusive. Churchwarden, Chris Rookes, will be fielding calls. For any urgent matters, Chris's number is 07940373610 and this will be on my voicemail message as well.

DAYS OFF

My days off in the first week of January will be

Monday 2nd (bank holiday) and Friday 6th.

ADVANCE NOTICE: THE NEXT MEN'S BREAKFAST - will be at 8.30am on Saturday 14th January (NOT 7th!)

HUNMANBY NEWS:

SINGING GROUP

Every SECOND and FOURTH Tuesday of the month 10.30am till 12 noon. You are welcome to join us to exercise your vocal cords, socialise and enjoy coffee and cake ( as well as keep warm!).

N.B. THE SPRING CAFE/HUB IS CLOSED FOR THE CHRISTMAS BREAK AND REOPENS FOR THE CAMEO MEAL ON WEDNESDAY 4TH JANUARY 2023.

HUN-FREE FRIDGE IS OPEN ON IT’S USUAL DAYS EXCEPT MONDAY 2nd JANUARY WHEN IT WILL BE CLOSED. IT WILL ONLY OPEN FOR ONE HOUR EACH TIME UNTIL FRIDAY 6TH JANUARY.

WELCOME SPACES:

The cafe is one of many places across the borough offering a warm and welcome space. This new initiative ensures that over the coming winter months you will always have the option to come and enjoy friendship in a warm environment where a hot drink is available and should you need it, plus information about coping in these challenging times. HunFree the Hunmanby Community Fridge will operate on Monday morning from 9.30am and Friday afternoon from 1.45pm when tea/coffee will be available.
