Election of churchwardens and Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Monday 9th May at 2.30pm in church

HUNMANBY NEWS:

THIS SATURDAY 30th APRIL 10.00am Spring clean session of the café ( inside and out). An hour of hard work and fun, open to ALL, men especially welcome to help us move furniture, clean windows, etc.

CHURCH GARDEN

The gardening team are meeting on Saturday 7th May between 10.30 and 12noon to tidy the flower beds. If you would like to help please come and join us in the church grounds-weather permitting. Please bring your own gardening tools. Thank you.

ADVANCE NOTICE RE JUBILEE WEEKEND - ESPECIALLY ON SAT. 4th JUNE

CAKES are needed please for the Platinum Jubilee weekend as well as helpers. Café staff / volunteers need help for setting up & clearing tables, tidying up outside and just to be a welcoming presence.
There will be a LIST at the back of church to sign up please, or let Joy or any of the café volunteers know. Thank you!

SPRING CAFE THIS WEEK: (programme for May attached below)

Monday 2nd May

From 9.30am Hun-Free Fridge (Free food for all to avoid it going to waste)

12.15 - 12.45pm Spring prayers - come and pray for the work of the Spring

1.00pm till 3.00pm Knit and natter, bring your own knitting (or some is provided) and enjoy a chat over a cuppa,

& from 1.00pm Games Afternoon (Enjoy a chat and cuppa with board games).

& ...S.W.O.R.D. Note. Games will start at 1pm BUT THE SWORD AFTERNOON TEA will start AFTER the games at 2.15pm.

Tuesday 3rd

10.00am till 12noon Tea, Toast & Chat - A time for carers and their families to come meet one another and relax and make new friends. In association with Support for Carers.

1.30pm The square dancing group will meet

Wednesday 4th

10.00am - 3.00pm Drop in for drinks and cakes or come and enjoy the CAMEO ( come and meet each other) 2 course meal served at 12 noon. Set price of £5.50 for 2-course meal.

Friday 6th

12noon Community meal

Hun-Free Fridge from 1.00pm (Free food for all to avoid it going to waste)

Saturday 7th

HUN-FREE COMMUNITY FRIDGE: (Please note - each session will close when all the food has gone)

HunFree the Hunmanby Community Fridge will operate on Monday morning from 9.30am and Friday afternoon from 1pm when tea/coffee will be available.

12noon Every Friday in the Spring cafe - Community Meal. Further information of all cafe activities can be found on the church website or Spring cafe Facebook page.
