Friends of Hunmanby Railway Station
Wrangham House was until the 1960s the Vicarage of All Saints Church. It has not been extended to become a hotel, it is the size it has always been as the vicarage!! The most famous resident was Rev. Francis Wrangham an 18th Century scholar and writer. He was Vicar of Hunmanby and Archdeacon of Cleveland. HIs library in Wrangham House was so large it was shipped by barges from nearby Filey to London and took days to complete.
